What about Florida State did you love the most?

The whole culture and environment at Florida State was amazing. I love the family atmosphere and it really made me feel like I was at home. The coaches really take care of their players and not only develop them as softball players, but also prepare them for life after college. The way the softball program is run and the competitive nature felt like I could really fit in there. They are heavily focused on rest, sleep, and recovery which will help me grow as an athlete and take care of my body. It really felt like a second home down in Tally. I cannot wait to compete for a national championship!

What is your favorite travel ball memory?

Our 2022 PGF Nationals run is truly one of my favorite sports memories so far. We placed seventh. They were all big games because we went into the International Tiebreaker three times including the last game that we lost. It was probably one of the most exciting weeks of my life.

What’s the most important thing you’ve learned from a coach?

My pitching coach says to always be accountable to not only my teammates but also myself and pay attention to the details necessary to overcome the obstacles that come at me.

How did you get interested in softball?

I was at my brother’s t-ball game and told my parents I wanted to play.

What are your strengths as a player? What are you trying to improve on the most?

I do really well under pressure. I am trying to improve on throwing my drop ball to counteract my riseball.

What player(s) do you look up to the most?

Keagan Rothrock

What are your favorite hobbies outside of softball?

I like to go shopping, work out, and hang out with my friends.

What excites you the most about playing college softball?

Competing for a national championship.
