What about Ole Miss did you love the most?
I loved the coaches and the atmosphere. I felt at home and as soon as I stepped on campus and met everyone, I knew this would one day be my home.
What is your favorite travel ball memory?
In California last summer when I hit a home run to take the lead in a big game and getting to play in PGF in general.
What’s the most important thing you’ve learned from a coach?
Something super simple but it’s to just take one pitch at a time. That stuck with me because that’s the game of softball. Each pitch something in the game can change so just relax and take it one pitch at a time.
How did you get interested in softball?
My dad used to throw to me in the basement when I was very little and I decided that was the sport I wanted to stick with and I fell in love with it.
What are your strengths as a player? What are you trying to improve on the most?
My strengths are my hitting and arm, I show good leadership and effort, and can take pressure. I’m trying to improve on continuing to be consistent with my swing and getting stronger and faster.
What player(s) do you look up to the most?
I’ve never looked up to anyone specific but I’ve always been inspired by the best players/athletes because they all have the same thing in common and it’s grit and work ethic. It’s motivated me to become the player I am today.
What are your favorite hobbies outside of softball?
Hanging out with friends and working out.
What excites you the most about playing college softball?
Getting the opportunity to play on the biggest stage, show all my hard work, and to build new relationships and friendships.
